Rejected petition stop forcing an elected mayor upon East Anglia

The Government is offering East Anglia some devolution of power, but only if we agree to an American-style elected mayor. This may work in a city, but our region is a whole range of different communities. A mayor would need a whole new layer of staff (and expense). We are being sold a pig in a poke!
