Rejected petition #Londin. London to become independent from the UK and to remain in the EU.

This campaign shall be known as Londin. The vote in London was overwhelmingly for Remain, so we the undersigned vote for London to become independent from the rest of the UK and remain a part of the EU.

We all benefit greatly from a freedom of movement between London and the rest of Europe in both directions; we have airports and the Eurostar allowing for easy transport and trade; the arts, financial and health sectors are all enhanced by European funding and free movement with the EU and the city could not function without this freedom and flexibility. Let London continue to be the great multicultural city it should be.

Why was this petition rejected?
