Rejected petition Allow voters the opportunity to withdraw their vote to leave the European Union.
A large number of voters are now voicing regret at having opted to leave the EU, for a range of reasons including misinformation, misunderstanding and immediate political backtracking. As the consequences begin to unfold these voices should be able to withdraw what they feel is a misplaced vote.

The fallout from the EU referendum is beginning to paint a worrying picture, not only because of its vast global consequences, but also because a large number of leave voters are starting to suggest that they feel they voted incorrectly.
Freedom of choice is a wonderful thing and with it, unfortunately, comes the ability to choose wrongly. However, we also share a responsibility to each other to act when we feel we have made a mistake and fix it.
