Rejected petition Regulation required to ensure that political advertising is not untruthful.

The Advertising Standards Authority can ban misleading advertisements in the commercial world but have no power over political advertising. The Vote Leave campaign said that the £350 million was to be spent on the NHS, which was untrue. The public were deceived. New regulation is needed.
