Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition Annul the result of the EU Referendum and initiate a Judicial review.

The majority of the claims on both sides of the campaign were based on misinformation, misrepresentation of the facts, lies and exaggerations which since the result, leading campaigners have sought to distance themselves from. A vote based on misinformation cannot be fair, democratic or ethical.

More details

The £350M sent per week to the EU did not include the reduction for the rebate. The claim to spend this on the NHS could not be guaranteed.
The claim to stop immigration from the EU but retain access to the single market is not based on real world examples such as other members of the EEA.
A lot of voters who voted Leave would have used these points as basis for their votes.
