Funding helps to ensure devlopment but its needs to be consistant. Team GB now has good swimmers and cyclists but now is not the time to change the funding method especially if we are to ensure development. Development in athletics has not been as good as hoped. Cutiing funding both at grassroots and national level will not help this.
