We want a pop-up to be introduced that discourages people from posting content or viewing the website further.","additional_details":"There have been multiple studies that show the effects of viewing harmful websites such as pro eating disorder, pro self harm and pro suicide. Many list that the participants experienced lower levels of self-esteem, more willingness to engage in activities being encouraged and distorted perception of self. We believe that discouraging engagement and signposting to support would prevent individuals from being negatively affected by these websites.","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":7,"created_at":"2018-02-17T11:34:31.093Z","updated_at":"2020-02-26T22:37:04.963Z","rejected_at":"2018-02-27T12:16:27.172Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2018-02-17T19:10:56.274Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_on":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"no-action","details":"We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. \r\n\r\nIf you'd like this kind of pop-up to be required by law, you could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law. \r\n"},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}}}
