Rejected petition Supermarkets to label the most eco-friendly product for all product sections

Make it easier for consumers to make environmentally friendly decisions by indicating (for example) which washing up liquid is least damaging to the environment. This will require transparency from brands in terms of their impact on the environment, and reward brands who are more eco-friendly.

Force brands to be transparent about the production of their products, and make it easier for consumers to make eco-friendly choices without hours of researching and misinformation affecting their consumer choices.
The most environmentally friendly products will be indicated based on their ranking in relation to a number of factors (including greenhouse gas emissions, to water and plastic use).
