This country would be a better place if we had more trees in our urban environment.
With planning, our towns & cities could be transformed into better places. Additionally trees are natural regulators of the climate.
I call for a bill to ensure that 60 million trees are planted, and, in the spirit of the Big Society, individual citizens, local authorities, local groups should be enabled to work together to make this happen.
