The UK should commit to becoming a global champion for a new International Spam E-mail Agreement to stop the widespread abuse of email across the Internet.

We need to commit fully to progressing this new agreement and we should encourage multi-national commitment from other countries with penalties for non-compliance.

This would help to protect the general public in the UK from criminal organisations throughout the world intent on defrauding or otherwise manipulating citizens to part with their money and/or their personal details.
