The Youth Mobility Scheme allows people aged 18-30 to obtain a visa to work in a number of Commonwealth countries.

I think this is ageist and illegal under the Equality Act 2010. The Act states that "If the protected characteristic is age, A does not discriminate against B if A can show A's treatment of B to be a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim."

I do not think there is a legitimate aim and the scheme should therefore be open to all.
