Rejected petition Fix and properly maintain the M66 Motorway making it safe again.

Ensure highways England properly fix and maintain the motorway so it is free of water build up, has proper drainage and free of potholes. Generally maintain the motorway better as many lives have been changed/lost because of this dangerous stretch of motorway especially in bad weather.
On 8th May a young women had her life tragically cut short because of aqua planing on this dangerous stretch of motorway and going into a tree. Everyone comments about how dangerous this motorway is especially in the rain and at night when there is no lighting. There is little to no drainage so water builds up and sits on the surface, there are potholes and general maintenance has been neglected. The road is seriously unsafe and life threatening in bad weather conditions and at night.
Why was this petition rejected?
