Rejected petition Shut Russia down now
Rejected on
Shut Russia down now. No flights in or out. No ships in or out. No imports or exports. Total shut shut down. Make the people of Russia want to change their leader.
You all know why
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The actions you have requested would require a coordinated international effort, and cannot be achieved by the UK Government alone. We could accept a petition calling for the UK to impose additional sanctions on Russia, but it would need to be clear what new sanctions you wanted to be imposed.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
