Make climate action a priority by speeding up the process of the Net Zero Strategy that sets out policies and proposals for decarbonising all sectors of the UK economy. Change the target from 2050 to 2030.

In 2020, the Met Office predicted the temperatures of an average UK summer in 2050. Within two years, we have already met those predictions.
Fires are now spontaneously starting in parts of England. Time is running out far quicker than expected. We urge the Government to start taking action immediately.
