If everything is done officially with their relationship such as living together, bills share etc why should CSA be paid when the child will have 2 incomes coming in?\r\n\r\nI know of women who are creaming the money in off their ex-partners and using it for their benefit and not the childs! Its disgusting.\r\n\r\nIf a single parent with the child custody has 2 incomes coming in plus child benefit, tax credit etc then they do not need CSA.\r\n\r\nPeople with a good income are being penalised by the percentage the ex partner is 'entitled' to. If someone is on a good wage the ex does not need £300+ a month for a child.\r\n\r\nIf that is the case then why is child benefit only £20 pw and not more?","committee_note":null,"state":"closed","signature_count":19,"created_at":"2014-03-29T14:32:02.000Z","updated_at":"2017-06-21T15:15:08.041Z","rejected_at":null,"opened_at":"2014-03-31T10:57:48.000Z","closed_at":"2015-03-30T22:59:59.000Z","moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-03-29T14:32:02.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_on":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":null,"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[],"signatures_by_country":[],"signatures_by_constituency":[],"signatures_by_region":[],"other_parliamentary_business":[]}}}
