This e-petition is designed to enable the UK government to put the real future of the NHS in the hands of the people within the UK. This will be achieved via referendum and placed into statue to secure it's future for all successive governments to maintain. A clear 15 year plan will prevent an unplanned failure of the service and harm to patients. It will prevent the short term fixes offer by parliamentary term and see cure the future the nation wants.

The plan is over 15 years could be (but are not exclusively limited to) as follows:

• Remain as we are
• Increase taxation to directly fund the NHS
• Plan for a two tier system which require people who can afford it to have private health insurance.
• Fully privatise the health service.
