As a consumer I like to know the companies that I use pay their staff a wage they are able to live on, and not expecting employees to survive living below the poverty line in large areas in the UK. All I want is for companies who say they care about their staff to prove it. If this should by some miracle happen, managers pay should not be taken into account as it would dramatically alter the average.
