Have you ever received an over payment for Tax Credits?
This is because HMRC calculate your entitlement over a 12 month period they predict that your situation will remain the same for these 12 months, so if you then change your circumstances more than likely you will get an over payment usually in the £100's.
I suggest they calculate it weekly or monthly and remain the same each week/month unless we advise them of any changes and hopefully see over payments £10-30 instead of putting us in debt.
