Healthcare assistants are forefront in hospitals, care homes and many other places. Some healthcares have been working in the profession for 10years or more yet we are not reconigsed. We simply just known as 'just a healthcare assistant'

Help us get registered and recognised for what we do on Band 3/4
Healthcare assistants are not just bed bath washers or dinner deliverers.
We do bloods, cannultion, blood pressures, blood sugars,vaccines i.e flu vaccines, wound care along with patient personal care and comfort.
For what we do in our job role we do not get the recongition like we should and to be on band 2 where secretaries are band 4 is unfair.
