Rejected petition Non-EU Nationals Home Office Application Fees to be Reduced

As a British citizen today, but once an immigrant in the past. I realised many Non-EU Immigrants are suffering whenever they want to make a new application to regularise their status and when renew it either at the end of two and a half years, three years or two years.

More details

Please, I strongly believed in the principle of egalitarian society. Home Office [HO] action is contrary to Art 14 of ECHR which identified there should be no discrimination. The action of HO is contrary to Equality Act 2010 for one party to be treated less favourable e.g RACE.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about Home Office fees for non-EU nationals, but we're not sure how much you'd like fees to be reduced by.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
