Rejected petition Michael Grove & DEFRA to end the inhumane Badger Cull & use Biosecurity Measures
The UK goverment has just taken the ill informed decision to extend the Badger Cull even though many reports have shown the ineffectiveness of such a cruel kill reducing the incidence of bovine TB amongst herds.
A cull of badgers is insane. Many species are capable of carrying Bovine TB.

Humans are capable of carrying bovine TB, as are sheep, goats, horses, pigs, deer, dogs, cats, foxes, mink, badgers, ferrets, rats, squirrels, otters, seals, hares, & moles.
There have been very few incidences of bovine TB spreading to people in the UK
DEFRA should be working with the NFU to roll out Biosecurity measures for farm animals & stop the cull now as a complete waste of taxpayers money!
As an improvement in Farming practices, we should no longer target our dwindling wildlife.
