The use of single plastic bags have increased rapidly over the past decade. Globally 8 million metric tons of plastic trash leak into our natural spaces each year, slowly destroying our planet. Plastic is killing the wildlife on land and in the ocean.

A recent study had shown that plastic was found in human poo across the globe. Finland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the UK and Austria all tested positive for microplastics.
