Rejected petition Hold a referendum on the negotiated Brexit arrangements

We, the undersigned, call upon our elected officials to give the people of this country an opportunity to express their views by way of a referendum on the arrangement that is negotiated as a result of the Article 50 process to exit from the EU.

More details

Given the high of level of misinformation upon which were based many of the votes at the 23 June 2016 referendum, this further vote is essential to affirm the real and current wishes of the people.

In view of the importance of these arrangements to the strength and wellbeing of the country for decades to come, as well as the socio-economic impact that they will inevitably bring about, we trust that our elected officials will allow the people of this country to make their opinions heard on this issue by way of a vote at this historic and critical moment for the country.

This should be done through a referendum that would take place prior to the exit of the UK, or any part thereof, from the EU.
