Rejected petition Make face masks free if there to be compulsory to wear in shops.

I don't agree that the public should have to pay for face masks especially now that there being made compulsory to wear. I feel that if the government want to enforce such a rule onto the public then free face masks should be sent to every household or be given out at the door of every shop.

Many people throughout the country have been affects by the pandemic, many now struggle with simple day to day bills. So how is it right to threat a fine of £100 for those who have no masks and have difficulty paying for simple things like food. I believe that by making this rule is going to create a lot of problems which could simply be solved by providing free face masks to the public. If the government really want the best for the people's safety then help the people, don't threat a fine.
