Allow weddings to have up to 30 guests as funerals still do. Weddings are extremely special occasions, which can be done abiding by social distance rules of 6 to a table, contacts tracing, keeping apart etc...

After weeks of cancelling and readjusting plans (which have been many years in the making for some) the guest count was cut from 30 to 15.

A wedding day is an important part of a couples relationship, to mark the beginning of their life together.

The reduced guest limit of 30 people were already extremely controlled, with social distancing measures in place and adhered by.

The rule change on the 22nd of September to cut weddings to 15, after many couples have worked extremely hard to accommodate the previous rules is a blow to many. The special feeling and excitement of the day has now been overrun with stressful re-planning and disappointment.
