Rejected petition Give homeless people the right to vote

Allow people to right N/A on an address if they do not have one allowing them to vote. If the government can do the process justice then this reform is revolutionary

More details

If you don't have a home, you are still a person and under the basic convention of human rights, the right to vote is there clear as day. It also doesn't cause any significant problems as long as it is done correctly

Why was this petition rejected?

We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.

We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.

People with no fixed or permanent address can already register to vote. The form for people of no fixed or permanent address to register to vote is available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/register-to-vote-if-you-havent-got-a-fixed-or-permanent-address

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
