Rejected petition Utilise the Military to train HGV Driver's

The UK has a shortage of HGV driver's. The Government want to consider issuing a Temporary Visa to EU HGV driver's to ease the problem.

In the short term this may work, however IF the Government would Utilise the Military to drive UK HGV's to ensure delivery of goods within the UK.

I feel the people of the UK have a vested interest in how their taxes are used. This suggestion I feel gives value for money taxpayers pay.

On 27 September 2021, the Government announced that they have approved to put on a standby pool of military drivers which will be deployed if required to deliver fuel where it is needed most.
