I learnt, when I apply for my pension, my carers allowance will be removed! I will still be looking after my son for the 133 hrs I currently do, so why/how can it be right to remove this.\r\nWhen my husband died, my carers allowance was removed because I claimed bereavement allowance for the following year even though I was still looking after my son. How is this fair/right?\r\nPlease recognise the work we carers do and the money we save the government.
