This issue is having a significant impact on staff morale, workforce retention, and potentially patient care.","additional_details":"The Service previously allowed a Technician to complete relevant training, gain experience and progress internally to a Paramedic role once confident and competent, however, this pathway no longer exists. When paramedic training moved to a university degree model, the internal progression route for Technicians was removed.
