In our view, for people whose conditions affect impulse control or deferring reward, an automatic, structured account is a reasonable adjustment, not a preference. The Lifetime ISA's bonused retirement route is being scrapped for first-time buyers only. Disabled people, who may be less likely to have a workplace pension, can lose it disproportionately.
