E-scooters are an environmentally friendly way of getting around. I agree their use needs to be regulated and that's why I think their use should be restricted to over 18s and a helmet should be worn for safety reasons. We feel that the fact that e-scooters hired from the local council are allowed in certain areas but not privately owned ones ridiculous.
