We believe these students need the freedom to endeavour in self study without being restricted by phone bans.","additional_details":"We are concerned that this ban could have a serious negative effect on the performance of students. Whilst overall the ban could be beneficial to a school environment, we think it creates problems for KS5 students (aged 16-18). This is because in a digital age, most resources for independent study are online. Allowing KS5 students more freedom could improve performance and results. \r\n \r\nWe also think it is unfair to confiscate a 17 or 18 year olds phone.
