I believe facilitating such attendance would provide a perfect opportunity to enable a wider range of people to put themselves forward as candidates to be councillors.","additional_details":"In June 2025 the Government said it would do this. I think that there are still so many people with all of the necessary talents who are currently locked out of being councillors. I believe there is no urgency at the moment with regards to the timescale to bring in these changes. I think a perfectly reasonable timescale would be to ensure hybrid attendance of councillors is implemented at least six months before next year’s local elections.
