Section 164 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 introduced similar protections for protests near places of worship. We believe this should extend to asylum accommodation. Whatever someone’s views on asylum and immigration policy, we feel that asylum seekers should be able to enter and leave where they live without intimidation from protests immediately outside.
