We believe this is about saving lives.","additional_details":"By signing this petition, you can help us call on the Government to do the right thing, by protecting some of the most vulnerable road-users in the country. In 2019, 336 bikers were killed in the UK. My father was one. Since then I have watched my family battle with the consequences of losing him, and it's not something I want others to face.\r\n\r\nThe current law is firm about the wearing of motorcycle helmets but this isn't the case for other forms of safety equipment, although studies show such equipment can reduce the risk of and severity of injuries.
