We ask the Government to fund the creation of more structured, supervised early-career graduate paramedic roles across the NHS.","additional_details":"The Royal College of Paramedics estimates that up to 50% (~1,200) of new paramedic registrants this year may not progress into professional roles on completion of their university education.\r\n \r\nWe believe the Government should work with the Royal College of Paramedics and NHS bodies and fund the creation of more supervised preceptorship roles (like the ambulance NQP programme) for graduate paramedics.
