We are concerned the recent NIC increases and wage uplifts are costing average surgeries unprecedented amounts each year. Unlike private businesses, practices cannot pass these costs onto patients. Without an exemption or full financial reimbursement, we are concerned surgeries will be forced to cut clinical staff, reduce appointments, or close their doors permanently.
