As more and more houses are built, the situation becomes more acute. Northampton needs and deserves more.","additional_details":"This campaign asks for more resources, money and staffing for Northampton's Hospital. The town is growing at an exponential rate: new roads, new houses, new residents but not enough facilities. Fight for the town for the benefit of our population. You never know when you or your loved ones will need it.","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":11,"created_at":"2026-09-27T06:32:40.856Z","updated_at":"2026-10-12T10:49:52.558Z","rejected_at":"2026-10-12T10:49:51.089Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2026-09-28T20:00:30.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_on":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"creator_name":null,"rejection":{"code":"local","details":"We can’t accept petitions that call for action at a local level.\r\n\r\nYou could ask your MP to take action on your concerns about this issue, including by asking them to present a public (paper) petition about this.\r\n\r\nYou can find contact details for your local MP here: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP\r\n\r\nAnd you can find out how to ask your MP to present a public (paper) petition here: https://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/sign-a-petition/paper-petitions/\r\n\r\nYou could also raise your issue with a local councillor who represents you.
