Rejected petition Bring back National Service for unemployed 18-20 year olds

We need to bring back National Service for all 18-20 year olds who are unemployed. This would not include young people in further education or on apprentiships etc. The qualifying individuals would have to do a minimum 12 months national service and would come out with self discipline, self respect and a skill. This would apply to ALL unemployed residents including immigrants. If they have no work or are not in further education.
