Please delegate to Chief Constables the authority to request support from local Army units in times of riots or civil unrest.

Please Strengthen links betwwen Army, RAF and Royal Navy establishments ( including TA) and permit and authorise local commanders to deploy their forces "In support of the Civil Power" at short notice, without recourse to authorisation from MOD.
