Petition Entry tax to UK for all visitors/tourists/holidays makers

From recent holidays to Mexico, Turkey and Argentina, a number of countries charge you a tax to either enter or exit their country (Mexico is 30 GBP).

I propose that with all the natural history and heritage that our great country has, that we charge all visitors a charge of £20 entry to our beautiful country.

The UK receives approximately 25 million visitors per year. This would generate some £500M per year (VAT exc). After 10 years, £5 Billion (VAT exc).

It's not extorting people, it's just and entry fee to one of the greatest countries the world has seen. To charge £30 GBP to enter Mexico when their is not much there apart from hotels and beaches, I believe we could do this without a reduction in tourism.
