to stop any future action to disband the coldstream guards regiment,due to its proud history and continued role within the british army.they are an elite light infantry unit of 600 men,and also participate in ceremonial duties across the country.
the coldstream guards are the oldest regiment with continual service within the british army,hence their motto 'nulli secundus'-second to none.
