Petition Police Community Support Officers

It seems the role of Police Community Support Officer is here to stay even when the Government and Senior Police Officers know we the public consider this role a waste of public money.
To improve and make these officers a value to the community their powers need to be increased. As yet they have few powers. They should be given powers to deal with parking offences, anti social behaviour i.e. barking dogs, music blasting out and littering etc issuing tickets for fines and or removing annoying animal or music system. This way the public will see some value from having the PCSO’s.
