Census information is released to the public after 100 years. Reducing this to 50 years would be invaluable to family history researchers.

Allowing the private sector to digitise and market the information would provide employment and a share of the income for the government.

The law needs to be changed to allow the time interval to be reduced and an agreement with the private sector to be established
