Rejected petition Stop cutting Child Tax credits when their child reaches 16 years old.
As soon as a child reaches the age of 16, the responsible parent has their Tax Credits income reduced. However, Myself and others believe that the child tax income should be cut/stopped at 18 instead. It would allow parents to provide for their children more easily. They are still a child until 18!

Many parents still look after their children who are 16/17, and with their taxes being cut or even stopped, it will make it harder for them to look after them. They are still a child until 18, not 16!
