Petition Make it law for those over the age of 16 in the British Isles to carry ID cards

I really do think it would be the best solution, as it would combat fraud in all areas, and would target those in Britain, especially illegal immigrants, who wrongly claim benefits. After all we carry driving licences, passports, etc. If you have nothing to hide, then there is no reason to obect!
