Rejected petition Reverse High Court decision to criminalise format-shifting

Recently a high court ruling made the format-shifting (i.e. ripping) of cd's /other media illegal as a change to a law that allowed for this as a form of fair use. The decision to reverse this was an action that show a sheer lack of understanding about how music is consumed in the 21st century.
