Potholes form around the edges of utility works, unsightly reinstatements drag the rest of our roads and environment down. With the reported profits from most utility companies it should be made compulsory to surface dress or resurface the entire section to ensure the roads stay in good condition

Local councils do not have the budget to constantly keep surface dressing, resurfacing or fixing this defects. I have had a meeting with our local council to confirm this.
