The current riots are an extention of the lawlessness that has gripped many estates around the country. Peoples quality of life has been made intolerable by the intimidations from verbal and physical abuse and noise and the apparent ineffectiveness of the police in handling it. Our neighbourhoods must be reclaimed and made safe and harmonious for the millions of law abiding citizens in thsi country.
