If your Spouse / Partner is unable to work through ill health but NOT entitled to any benefits You should be able to claim some or all of your Spouse / Partners Tax Allowance if you are in full time employment.

I fully support my wife who is too ill to work following major surgery, 12 years ago. She has been refused DLA and Mobility.

Part of David Camerons election policies said there would be help for single income couples.
